What resources are used when the media server is backing up job?
My file server which is also my media serer seems a little taxed during the
day when a backup job is running the same time users are on the file/print
server.
Can someone tell me what is being used when running a backup job
Ram/CPU is the data spooled to the local server drive? It seems like im
getting a lot of disk activity
thanks

Don't know specifics, but you will see increased memory, hard drive and cpu
activity when the backup job runs. Which is why most people ensure their
backups run during the night when the network is quiet.
