BE 7.3 locking files on server - Veritas Backup Exec

This is a discussion on BE 7.3 locking files on server - Veritas Backup Exec ; Since I updated the virus defs. I have noticed that BE 7.3 is locking files and won't release them until I stop and restart the services... Is this normal? Michael...
