  1. Job Engine service quits as it reaches mailbox

Heres a puzzling one, Backup Exec 8.6 has been running fine, last night it
was set to do a full backup of Exchange, including all the users mailboxes,
as it got to one particular users mailbox the Job Engine service quit,
stopping the backup jobs completely. I've rung some test this morning and
found out which mailbox it is, but so far no idea why it keeps stopping the
Job engine every time it reaches that one mailbox - any ideas ?

If I exclude the mailbox from the backup selections the jobs run fine, no
    problems at all

    Regards

    Hi Jeff,
I had this prob. when backing up a file server but even worse, our server
restarted after a memory dump. After finding out when and where it stopped,
I deleted the corrupted files. So, perhaps you should look into the content
    in that mailbox?
