Job fails after verify with no error - Veritas Backup Exec

This is a discussion on Job fails after verify with no error - Veritas Backup Exec ; I run a backup job and it backs up all the files then does the verify and then says that if failed but the log shows no error message. Anyone have any ideas?...

    Chris, I get this sometimes when an item couldn't be found from the Selection
    list. For instance, if you have deleted a mailbox but didn't remove it from
    the selection list, the job may fail.

    Chris,

    just open the log-file with notepad and look for the string " not found".
    In most cases a directory had been revomved which backup exec tried to find.
