Re: Backup Job Failed???
Mike,
you are trying to backup remote Windows 2000 servers, and you do not have
the accelerator agents installed to properly perform that task, that is why
your job is failing.

I saw the above error several times in your backup log. If you have not done
so, you will need to install the remote Windows 2000 accelerator agent, and
then your backup job should go to a complete.
Hope that info helped.
Dapre.

Re: Backup Job Failed???
The job is failing simply because of the line "Remote Agent for
Windows NT/2000 not present - performing standard backup". I have the exact
same problem. I am backing up some NAS devices that will not support the
agent. I'm looking for a registry change that will prevent the job status
from being set to failed just because the agent is not present.
