Does anybody know, who sets the media-id of a new tape on
a OnStream-SC50-Streamer?
Is the media-id set by BackupExec without notice of the
OnStream-SC50 (so it's for the SC50 some uninterpretable data)
or does BackupExec only sends a command "create media-id"
and the streamer itself creates the media-id?

Is it possible, to read the media-id WITHOUT BackupExec?

The problem is, that BackupExec creates several medias
with different media-ids for an unique tape and I want to
get some more information, who make the error!
