  1. 8.6 Remote Agent Issues

After installing 8.6 and pushing the remote agent to our servers, I receive
"unable to initialize remote agent" on some of them. Do NT machines HAVE
to be rebooted for the agent to work right? I can't take a 4.6 MB throughput.

If anyone has any fixes for problems while pushing the agent that would be
great too, I get errors and have to install it manually. As anyone on a
large network knows, a manual install on 35 servers is not fun.

    Thanks in advance.

yes, you have to reboot the remote server after installing the agent.

I always prefer manual installation (even on many servers).

As I understand....NT4.0 machines need a reboot, and they recommend a reboot
    on Win2K.
