  1. backup job stalls between drives in a cascaded pool

I have 2 HP SureStoreDLT80 Tape Drives. I am using Veritas Backup
Exec for Windows NT version 7.3. The OS is Windows NT 4.0 server.
I have make a cascaded pool with the two tapes drives. When I use
this logical drive for the backup. The backup process stalls at the point
where the first tape drive is full. It is in load media
state. After I manually open the locking handle, it continued on
into the running state of the backup process.

  2. Re: backup job stalls between drives in a cascaded pool

the drives have to be exactally the same and the same firmware must be
    installed on each as well.
