Verify Completed - Job Status = Failed - Veritas Backup Exec
This is a discussion on Verify Completed - Job Status = Failed - Veritas Backup Exec ; I am running BE v8 for NT, and all week my backups have had the status of
failed, but the data is backed up and verified with no other errors...any

Is it backing up any corrupt files?
If it is, it will give a failure for the job.
There is a registry hack to prevent it from "Failing" if bent backs up a
corrupt file.

You don't want to know that your backup software thinks that a file is corrupt?
You would rather think you had good data, until you actully tried to restore?
