Thread: Job defentions are using different tape slots

  1. Job defentions are using different tape slots

    Hello All,

I have a problem. We have configured our Backup Exec to divide the drive
    pool.
So we have a job defention A to backup xx amount of servers in in changer1
with slots beginning with 7 and ending 18, so changer1(0007-0018).

We have the same thing with job defention B. Changer1(0019-0030).

Now, for some reason Job Defention A is using tapes for slot 0019-0030 and
vise a versa with Job Defention B.

I checked the destination and it is correct in Job Defention.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem before?
If so, can you email how you resolved this problem(s).

    I'll greatly appreciate you help!!!!

    Thanks in Advance,

    Xavier
