  1. Dr Watson of Job Engine 7.3 r2575

    I am running 7.3 r 2575 with all patches on a Compaq
    Proliant 3000 NT4 SP6a. I have a job that backs up the C$ of
several NT4 enterprise clusters. This job does not backup any of the shared
    drives.
After this problem is fixed, the shared drives will be added
Sometimes and sometimes not, the job engine will dr watson with a c0000005
    error.
I can make this problem stop by having the agent accellerator stopped.
The backups take way too long then. The rate drops from 300MB/min
to under 100MB / min. I have searched the knowledge base for "cluster"
and read all documents. None seem to apply.

    Thanks

    referencing http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/229849.htm

The requirements for using Backup Exec outside the Cluster:-

Multi-Sever Edition of Backup Exec installed outside the cluster
Agent Accelerator required on both nodes inside the cluster
If suitable, a database agent installed on the Backup server, for example
the SQL Server Agent or the Exchange Server Agent
Cluster administrator software installed on the Backup Exec to allow
backup selections for either SQL or Exchange databases from the correct virtual
    server
