Re: Scheduled job failure
When I get wierd problems like this, I usually either stop and restart all
Veritas services. If that doesn't fix it, reboot your NT machine. This is
what fixed my issues.

Re: Scheduled job failure
I am having the same exact problem. My specs are BE8.5-3571 and NT4.0 w/
SP6a. Do your jobs show up in the job monitor? My jobs appear to not even
have tried to run. No indication of any error in the event log or the
history file. I reboot my server once a week on Sunday, after all backup
jobs have run. I have had almost perfect backups for three months, and then
this occurs. Nothing has changed on the server or the network. I'm
stumped.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Scheduled job failure
If the job is hanging at an alert, for what ever reason, and you re-boot the
server, all traces of the running job will disappear.
