BE 7.3 Rev.2371 Exchange restore problem
I've rebuilt the server from the ground up & am now trying to restore
Exchange using the Exchange module. I've re-installed BE and Exchange 5.5
exactly the same as it was originally. I then inventory'd the tape &
catalog'd it. When I try to re-install Exchange the log reads as follows:

Why would it allow access to the DS/IS, but not the Mailboxes. Please tell
me there's a way to make this work I'm depending on this tape to restore
these mailboxes (which is why I bought this Backup software to begin with).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,

Re: BE 7.3 Rev.2371 Exchange restore problem
1) don't mix individual mailbox restore with Information Store/Directory
restores.
2) You have the IS/DS, so you are set (you don't need to restore the
individual mailboxes).
3) In the future, forget about individual mailboxes. See
http://mail.tekscan.com/nomailboxes.htm.
4) As long as the new server is part of the same domain and using the same
Exchange service account, everything should go well.
Here are some Exchange links. The first is _required_ reading.
