  1. upgrading to build 2575

My NT server is currently on ver 7.3 rev 2371. I downloaded the bnt73i03.exe
to upgrade to 2575. When I double click the file, it begins to self-extract,
but hangs up. The task manager says "not responding". I've tried it on my
server and on my NT workstation. Any suggestions?

By the way, first time in this newsgroup. Looks like it could really help
    me.

Are you extracting to a local drive or network location?

I've tried to extract it locally on my PC and I tried to extract it at the
    server on the C drive.

sounds like your download got messed up somewhere, I would download again,
make sure you download in binary mode, and not ascii

That's exactly what happened - the download messed up. I downloaded it again
and it extracted fine on my PC. I extracted it on the server and even though
it did not give me the extract complete notification and the task manager
said not responding, when I compared the number of files and folders created,
it was the same as on my PC.

Thanks for the response. You'll probably be hearing from me again!
