with smtp, but haven't figured out how to email the associated log file as
an attachment or inthe body of the message. Is there something that I have
overlooked? I am running Veritas Backupexec v8 on NT4 Server w/SP5.

    Thanks in advance,

I found how to set this up. You need to setup email notification, not smtp.
In there there is a option to attach the log file, check your acrobat online
doc and do a search for email.
