  1. Novell Netware Debugger - Abend?

    Not sure this is an abend or not. Running BackupExec 9.1 on a NW6SP5
    w/1GB RAM Dell PE2600 (New) server yesterday the server stopped with:

    Novell NetWare Debugger
    Break Because Debug procedure was called
    current focus processor: P01#
    EAX=00000000 EBX=00000001 ECX=C8003F44 EDX=00000002 ESI=C8958F54
    EDI=00000000 EBO=390A0BE0 ESP=8958F1C EIP=C8A01994 FLAGS=00000002
    C8A0A9945F POP EDI

    I could not access debugger, .c just sat there rt&lft shift, alt, esc
    nothing. So powered off and restarted. did the same thing last night
    when running backup for Monday. No abend.log created either time, NOT
    EVEN IN C:\NWSERVER. In fact I do not have any abend.log.
    Boot$log.err shows Unable to find dxevent.nlm, this file is not on the
    server it is on my SP3 and SP4 servers however. I looked in the
    service packs and it isn't in SP4 or SP5. Sp3 has version 10210.42.00
    so the SP4 probably had it from there when I updated to sp4.

    I don't know where to start looking??
    should I replace TSAFS with tsa600? It has been working fine for about
    three weeks.

    Addendum found TID:
    I found TID 10094320 through the Dell User Forum. Another PowerEdge
    2600 person has a similar problem with Arcserve. They think it is the
    pedge3.ham driver, the version that should fix isn't out yet??

    Downloaded and installed new Pedg3.ham driver from Dell. Server is no
    longer going into debug call, but I am still having problems with
    backup. Backup ran fine Monday night and then last night I got:
    Error failed to complete a timeout has occurred (24681).

    any ideas on this?

  4. ERROR - A timeout has occurred. (24681)

    I am recieving the save error and can't figure it out. I have a new Compaq
    Proliant ML350 G3 with a DAT 72 drive, NetWare 6.5 SP3, and Backup Exec for
    NetWare Version 9.10 Revision 1154. Have you had any sucess solving your
    problem? If so please contact me at TomB@Capitalcu.com

    Thanks,
