Thread: 9.1 OFO Error

  1. 9.1 OFO Error

    Setup:
    NW 5.1 SP6, BackupExec 9.1 1067.2, OFO 9.1.101d.

    Job Error:
Backup Exec developed an error while trying to synchronize the server
using the Open File Option. The backup will continue without using the
open file option. Please refer to SYS:\SYSTEM\OFM\OFMNW.LOG for further
    details.

Attempted to adjust to Verbose output by setting VerboseMsgLogging=1 in
the OFMNW.CFG, but that reduced the output to nothing. Previous log
    entries:

Are you by any chance backing up a GroupWise system with the Open File
Option? Which version of GW is it? If it's GW6.0 or above, you should be
using the GWTSA rather than OFO to back it up. If you're using the
GWTSA, and still backing up the GW system in your normal backup, it
might be an idea to exclude it from the normal backup :-)
