If it doesn't resolve the problem for you, I would suggest deleting the job
and recreating it/ re-scheduling it.

I have the same problem as Mary.
However, I am using BE 9.1 and NetWare 6 with SP3 in SAN environment.
One of server's backup job just in READY state and will not start.
Anyone has idea what is causing this problem?

I've had this problem before and it was caused by a paused tape device.
