    Hi,

    I cannot start Backup or restore jobs. The job is going "on hold" and there's
    no alert. Also the job log shows "error" but it's empty.
    Other jobs like inventory works fine. Is it a problem with NW6 SP3?

    I read something about the Adaptec driver in SP3 being the cause of this.
    Backrev to your earlier version and see how you fare.

    And I just found out that Adaptec knows about the messed up drivers, but
    submitted a replacement to Novell after the SP had been packaged, so they
    are included in the TOOLS folder of the SP. They won't install
    automatically, but you can grab them from there and they should work, or
    else use the ones from SP2.
