  1. Dell 1400PE, AIC 7870 & BE 8.5 w/SBS 5.1

    Thanks for the help...
    I'm installing BE8.5 onto a Dell 1400PE that uses
the Python tape (DDS4) and an integrated AIC 7870
SCSI controller. NW SBS 5.1 @ sP2a is the NOS.

During the installation, the 'driver' prompts do
not clearly indicate WHICH drv. would be best for the
    AIC 7870 board?
Could anyone comment on which of the 'offerred'
SCSI controllers would be BEST to use in this case?

No other BE in use, single server environmnet, no
    OpenFile, etc., etc... thank you.

Think I found the answer on KB site (Veritas') using
    TechNote ID: 189627
Basically suggests using the AHA - 294X drivers.
ANYONE have ANY comments on the veracity of such
    advise? Thanks.
