    Dear Sir/Madam,

    One of our customer's remote server(Netware 5.1 with SP1) is giving
    message the open file option is an evaluation copy:

    Total bytes used on this media: 12,856,721,408 (12261.1 Megabytes)

    Backup set ended: 10/04/01 at 03:13:48a

    Backing up volume SPOOL1: using Open File Option.

    Your evaluation copy of the Open File Option has expired. To
    obtain a license for the Open File Option product, contact your
    Backup Exec solution provider.

    The volume data can not be backed up using the Open File Option;
    volume data is not available.
    Backup Exec can not procede with a normal backup.

    This should not be the case as the open file option that the customer purchased
    is a valid one. Can anyone assist and advice in this matter.

    Create a file in the BKUPEXEC folder on that system called LICENSE.OFO. (Notepad
    will work) In the file type in the serial number of your OFO license *without* the
    hyphens. That should do it.
