Yes, I have seen something that sounds just like this problem. It seems to
    affect tape rotation jobs.

I have a schedule where I backup a couple of different servers to two DLT
tape stations. Full backups for one set of servers are run on thursday, and
for the other servers on fridays. On mon, tues. and wedn. differential backups
are meant to run. When I get an error during the backup, the jobs is placed
on hold, and I have to remove it. After that, no tape rotations jobs are
    run until next week.

I have tried some tricks like restarting the job manager and client, waking
up jobs with the console command "bec tr wakeup", but nothing seems to work.
I have mailed Veritas support, and was given the suggestion that the job
files may have become corrupted, and that I should remove them an setup the
schedule again. Tried that, with no success.

This is on a Dell 2400 with Netware 5.1sp1a and Backup Exec 8.5.4110
