Thread: Stop scheduled job?

  1. Stop scheduled job?

How do I stop a scheduled backup job? I have a job that runs every night. I
want to stop it from running. The only thing I've found was to change its
schedule to run once and let it go one more time. There must be a better
    way!

    Thanks.

Ron, Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, I am running WinNT, and
BackupExec chose to load its own scheduler... (I have never figured out why
    it didn't use WinNT's scheduler.)

If you are running Task Manager in Win 98, open up the items properties
box and on the first screen lower left hand corner is a check box to
    enable/disable the event.

  4. Re: Stop scheduled job?

How is it scheduled under nt workstation? through the BackupExec program? I
know the BE 7.2 NT single server version that has an integrated scheduler.
Perhaps you can use the NT "AT" command to identify the schedualed jobs and to
delete them... but that is only if the AT command was used to create the jobs...
