Lost, non-existant backup set
Help! Backup job completes but the backup set on the media is empty!
Config is Win 2K Pro with Toshiba DVD-RAM SD-W2002 running Backup Exec
Desktop Pro 4.61.
The report below shows that the job completed fine:

Backup Media: DVDRAM 003A - 15/02/2002 19:31

have been backed up.

Even the compare portion of the job completed with no errors. However, I
checked the backup by using Tools-Media-Identify which showed nothing on the
DVD-RAM media. So I tried restoring a file from the media by using the media
view of the restore tab with the following result:

Job Name: Restore

Backup Device: TOSHIBA DVD-RAM SD-W2002 Drive (E

Backup Media: DVDRAM 003A - 15/02/2002 19:31
Error: The set requested is no longer on this media. Unable to continue
this operation.
Operation Completed - No ( Cancelled )
Restore Job Ended - 15/02/2002 22:13:08

So confirming that no backup was actually written!
Any help would be really helpful.
