  1. Solaris 9 jumpstart problem

    Hello folks

    I've got a problem. I rechecked all settings four times, all is ok. the
    /etc/bootparams the /etc/ethers the rules.

    When i jumpstart the box (sunfire v120) with solaris 10 from same js
    server it happily installs everything as expected. If i jumstart
    solaris 9 it does two times ARP/RARP (normal in this network, it does
    this too on a sol10 install) and after it puts only empty lines on my
    terminal.

    bootparams reads as follows:

    3 inst01
    root=jsserver:/jumpstart/OS/5.10_06-06/Solaris_10/Tools/Boot
    install=jsserver:/jumpstart/OS/5.10_06-06/ boottype=:in
    sysid_config=jsserver:/jumpstart/Sysidcfg/sandwich
    install_config=jsserver:/jumpstart rootopts=:rsize=8192
    5 inst02
    root=jsserver:/jumpstart/OS/5.9_09-04/Solaris_9/Tools/Boot
    install=jsserver:/jumpstart/OS/5.9_09-04/ boottype=:in
    sysid_config=jsserver:/jumpstart/Sysidcfg/inst01
    install_config=jsserver:/jumpstart rootopts=:rsize=32768

    of which inst02 will not do any install. Even boot net -v gives anymore
    output.

    Any clues around? Would be very helpful
