I agree in general, except without the qualification. Even if all
native speakers were absolutely perfect, non-native speakers should
    get some slack.

But errors like "Solories" and "Widows" are inexcusable, especially for
a career which requires attention to detail.

Altough I'm tempted to surmise that Americans aren't really native
speakers after all, I'll instead say both need fixing. I'm not sure
whether modern technology has caused a lapse in general writing
proficiency, or merely made it much more visible while adding its own
    twist.

Yes, altough I'm more minded to give slack to people who are clearly
trying hard. Making errors is only human, but that's no excuse to not
correct them, once spotted. One would presumably edit their own CV or
(and!) have someone else proofread it.

I know mine went through several iterations before it started to
resemble something presentable. Most recruiters still ignore it, but
then again, I now think many are on roughly the same cognitive level as
the OP. Maybe I should add an error or two?

Agreed. Though this person didn't get the hint job searches aren't
wanted here the first time either.

(about resume with lots of errors and in wrong group)

Yes, a comparable high error rate on command/configuration entry
    while
operating as superuser, and great system damage can be done in little
    time.

Good news: more jobs for qualified administrators to clean up such
    messes.

Bad news: we really have quite enough more interesting work available
    as
    it is.
