Thread: update breaks network

  1. update breaks network

After an automatic update yesterday to Hardy 8.04, Gnome Commander has
stopped seeing windows shares on my home network. In fact, clicking SMB
    produces no results at all.

I can ping the network server, and I can control it under remote
desktop; just the smb facility seems to have broken.

I haven't a clue how to mend it...any hints please?
