Not on Hardy but it has been the standard kernel on Ibex
for some time now. Started with 2.6.27-1-generic and now
it's at 2.6.27-7-generic. So far the kernel hasn't been
a real problem, at least not for me.

I copied the config file from Hardy into the kernel source as .config,
then used `make-kpkg --initrd linux-image` to build the deb. Somehow the
kernel is not stable enough for prolonged use. Dunno how to diagnose the
problem neither.

Experimenting with Mandriva One 2009 on another machine and I have seen
no problems.
