Default Ubuntu will not let me roll back my system time

Ubuntu did not automatically roll back my system clock when DST ended...
which is no big deal, except it will not allow me to roll back manually.
I change the time, but whenever I reboot, it resets and the system time
is an hour fast.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here, what files I might need
to edit, etc.

Thanks.

Charlie

Right you are. Christ almighty... what is the point? To confuse people
like me.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm just left wondering how you managed not to notice everyone around you
was working to a different time for three days!

Are you talking about the US? Anyway the command to change system time
is date + the appropriate options run from a terminal.

Did you try right-clicking on the time display and resetting there?

That's how I did it . . . .

I'm retired. I live alone in a remote place, and for the last few days
I've been busy putting up firewood, so I haven't had much contact with
anyone.

You're my new hero. Can I come over?
