I have rsync operating well on an XP machine so long as the
destination drives are local.

An entry in the rsync.conf file of
path = d:/foldername/
works just fine so long as d: is a local drive.

If I try to use a network share from another XP box I cant get it to
work. I get a
[3076] rsync: chdir driveletter/folder/ failed
: No such host or network path (136)
message i the daemon log.

I have tried all sorts of gygwin-style paths like
path = driveletter:/folder/
path = /cygdrive/driveletter/folder/
path = //server/sharename/folder
path = server/driveletter:/folder/
but with no success.

Can anyone tell me a path syntax that they know works?

TIA,

Zom.
