I'm trying to replay a PCAP file using tcpreplay and capture it (again)
using tcpdump.

In terminal 1: tcpreplay -i eth1 mypcapfile.dmp

sending out eth1
processing file: mypcapfile.dmp
Actual: 10 packets (806 bytes) sent in 1.52 seconds
Rated: 529.2 bps, 0.00 Mbps/sec, 6.57 pps

Statistics for network device: eth1
Attempted packets: 10
Successful packets: 10
Failed packets: 0
Retried packets: 0

In terminal 2: tcpdump -i eth1

tcpdump: WARNING: eth1: no IPv4 address assigned
listening on eth1, link-type EN10MB (Ethernet), capture size 96 bytes

< waits indefinitely until Ctrl-C >

0 packets captured
0 packets received by filter
0 packets dropped by kernel

In terminal 3: ifconfig eth1

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:12:44:52:E2:A0
UP BROADCAST NOARP PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1522 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
Base address:0xccc0 Memory:df8e0000-df900000

The tcpreplay command is successful but tcpdump does not seem to capture
anything. Am I missing a step?
