openSuse 11.1 and VirtualBox 1.6.6

I select text mode, safe kernel settings, then in the next few seconds
the machine freezes with this message:

Code: Bad EIP value

kdb: Debuger re-entered on CPU 0, new reason = 5
Not executing a kdb command
Cannot recover, allowing even to proceed

The host is SLED 10 SP2, virtual memory is 2000M video memory 32M,
defined as Linux 2.6.

Any ideas?. I have about 10 different mixes of Linux and Windows
running just fine under VBox.
