  1. ET:QW doesn't work on OpenSuse10.3 x64

    hi.
    i moved into opensuse10.3 x64 from 32bit kubuntu, and i have problem
    with Enemy Territory: Quake wars.
i've installed it on my /home partition (i had not enough free space
on my / or /usr) on 32kubuntu. it worked perfectly
i formatted partitions and installed opensuse10.3, installed drivers
from nvidia (version: 169.12), and i installed SDL-libraries.

    szymon@linugrat:~$ glxinfo | grep direct
    direct rendering: Yes

but when i try to run a game, i get this

    szymon@linugrat:~$ .gry/etqw

Actually too bad its catching that seg fault. Because I don't know if
you can get it to create a core dump now, which might help a little.
Anyway, looks serious. Better ask the developers or vendor.

IF you have installed the nvidia drivers using Yast and the nvidia repo,
you MIGHT want to try the manual install instead. I have seen that solve
    GL crashes.

    hm...
i installed drivers manually, from the newest nvidia's driver
anyway, on debian (from within i write now) problem doesnt exist after
installation 32-bits libraries neccessary for flashplugin.
it works perfectly now (i.e. game, not debian :/) :>
but, i have to run it on suse, anyway :~
    thanks for answer
