| Does anyone have knowledge of installing this version of Netbackup on a Solaris 10 system without having to install the Symantec Infrastructure Core Services? TIA |

| It's extra software Symantec has added to the Netbackup package starting with version 6.5. My guess is it gives symantec a common framework of sorts for the rest of their software. It requires the addition of several VRTS packages (VRTSat, VRTSaz, VRTSpbx, etc), that apparently talk to each other. I presume you're not running it. |

My mistake- it's 6.0MP4 here, not 6.5 Their CLI installers are weird in that you can sometimes set/unset things in non-obvious places. I don't have access to my notes here though. |
