I have the same users and passwords created on both systems, but the
number for the group ID is different.
On the Solaris 10 system, I used /etc/dfs/dfstab to share out the path
I want to be mounted. I did a "shareall" also. The "nfsd" daemon is
running on both systems.

From the Solaris 7 station, logged in as root, I used this command:

mount server_name:/home/data /mnt

where server_name = name of the Solaris 10 system

But I got the "permission denied" error.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.
