a customer of mine has a X4200 with 4 disks configured as two HW-Raids
(mirrors) running Solaris10. He complained about horrible disk performance.
So I tried a time mkfile 1G testfile and yes it seems that one mirror of
SAS disks runa about 1Mbyte/sec. There are no errormessages in
/var/adm/messages raidctl shows 'All OK'.

Anybody experienced something like this with 146G drives?

Any clues what else I might check?
