Fourth Consecutive Profitable Quarter

Sun reported a first-quarter profit with a net income of $89 million,
or 3 cents per share, for the July-September period, which ended
Sept. 30. Sales were up 1 percent from last year for a total of
$3.219 billion, while its gross profit margin was up five percentage
points to 48.5.
