Ann: Sun3-Archiv online again + Updates

Hi,

English Version (german version below):

since a few days, the Sun3-Archive <http://www.sun3arc.org/>
is online again and Peter Kochs Mirror at <http://www.sun3zoo.de/>
will be updated soon.

Latest Updates:

- How to install the 4.1.1U1 Update without using a tape drive
- Some Software:
* Perl 5.8.8
* ntpd 4.2.0
* OpenSSH-4.3p2+OpenSSL-0.98a+ocrandom
* Essential GNU Utilities (Usually the newest Version or at least
the last Version which compiled properly without causing too much
pain. Bash is still at 1.14.7, because 2.x was rather slow and
3.x unusably sluggish)

Please be sure to read the corresponding READMEs before installing and
using the packages.

Ongoing work:
Some more up-to-date gcc than 2.8.1, X11R6.9 will come some time
later (tested, if I get my hands on a CG6 for the 3/80, otherwise
testing will be up to you).

Mirror auf <http://www.sun3zoo.de/> auf den aktuellen Stand ziehen.

Die letzten Updates:

- Anleitung zum installieren des 4.1.1U1 Updates ohne Bandlaufwerk
- Diverse Software:
* Perl 5.8.8
* ntpd 4.2.0
* OpenSSH-4.3p2+OpenSSL-0.98a+ocrandom
* Essential GNU Utilities (Soweit moeglich in den jeweils aktuellsten
Versionen, ansonsten die jew. neueste, die sich ohne allzu grosse
Schmerzen compilieren liess. Ausnahme: Bei der Bash habe ich es
bei Version 1.14.7 belassen. 2.x war zaeh und 3.x unbenutzbar lahm)

Bitte vor Installation und Benutzung der Software auf jeden Fall die
dazugehoerigen READMEs lesen!

Was noch kommen wird:
Ein halbwegs aktueller gcc ist gerade in der Mache, X11R6.9 kommt
irgendwann spaeter (falls ich eine CG6 fuer die Sun 3/80 bekomme
sogar getestet, ansonsten "Endkontrolle beim Kunden").
