Expects Big Savings with Sun Java[TM] Enterprise System Identity-enabled Portals

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) plans to migrate its
current identity management software to the Sun Java[TM] Enterprise
System Network Identity Services to provide secure, integrated Web
access management, delegated administration, self service and federated
identity mangement, all at a lower cost than is possible with current
solutions.

BCBSMA expects to appreciate benefits from savings as well as freedom
from time-consuming procedures required to integrate the disparate
elements of prior systems. This freedom will enable the insurance
provider to focus on compliance with such initiatives as the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which will be made
easier by the advanced security features of the Sun Java Enterprise
System, the Sun Java[TM] System Identity Server and the Sun Java[TM]
System Portal Server.

The Sun Java Enterprise System is now available directly to interested
customers through Sun and Sun iForce[SM] partners. Free evaluation for
90 days is available for the Sun Java Enterprise System or any of its
component products. Sun also offers a no hassle automatic term renewal
each year based on the then-current number of employees.

The Sun Java Enterprise System is delivered as a single, pre-integrated
entity on a predictable release cycle at a cost of $100 per employee per
year.
