Combining Vizional's Applications with Sun's Hardware and Software

Sun and Vizional are continuing their years-long partnership, combining
Vizional's applications with Sun's hardware and software to help
transform the retail supply chain. Vizional is supporting Sun's upcoming
RFID infrastructure software, which should offer benefits the customer
such as competitive real-time retailing.

Other benefits offered by the collaboration include greater visibility
of assets and inventory and the ability to react quickly to disruptions
in the supply chain. Retailers will be able to accurately track cases
and pallets through the supply chain and will enjoy increased
productivity as well as minimized risk against product shrinkage and
misplaced products.

Sun's open and scalable RFID infrastructure software is based on
Java[TM] technology and can provide seamless integration with different
devices, every time. Such an infrastructure is vital in environments
where multiple devices such as RFID readers, scanners or other handheld
devices need to reliably and accurately collect and forward information
with as little supervision and down time as possible.

"Having a partner like Sun allows us to assure customers excellent
hardware and software to help them manage their supply chains," said
Vizional President and CEO Joe Dugan. "We are very pleased to support
Sun's efforts in this emerging RFID technical space."
