Sun Java[TM] System Application Server 7, Enterprise Edition and StarOffice[TM] 7 Software

Sun is offering the following two new courses: Sun Java[TM] System
Application Server 7, Enterprise Edition (formerly Sun[TM] ONE
Application Server): Deployment and Administration course and
StarOffice[TM] 7 Kickstart course. The former provides students with the
skills necessary to install, tune and troubleshoot the software, while
the latter offers students the ability to migrate to the StarOffice 7
application suite.

The Sun Java System Application Server 7, Enterprise Edition: Deployment
and Administration course examines the features and architecture of the
product line. Course attendees will learn how to configure and operate
application servers in production environments, and will be able to take
advantage of features such as load balancing, clustering and fault
tolerance. Some of the course modules include: Reviewing Load Balancing
Concepts, Application Server Clustering, Configuring the Load Balancer
and Reviewing HADB Architecture and Administration.

The StarOffice 7 Kickstart course should introduce students to the
features and modules of the StarOffice 7 application suite. Students
will learn how to create, edit and enhance text documents, spreadsheets,
presentations and drawings by using the StarOffice 7 Writer, StarOffice
7 Calc, StarOffice 7 Impress and StarOffice 7 Draw modules. Students
interested in this course should already have some knowledge of an
office productivity tool.
