root login failure - new build
Hi all, I have just installed Solaris 10/U3 on a new v240. I installed
the Entire distribution including OEM support so nothing should be
missing. However I cannot login, even as root. Whenever I enter root on
the system console I get the following message
onfire1 console login: root
Jan 18 11:55:44 onfire1 login: open_module:
/usr/lib/security/pam_authtok_get.so
..1 failed: ld.so.1: login: fatal: libnss3.so: open failed: No such file
or direc
tory
Jan 18 11:55:44 onfire1 login: load_modules: can not open module
/usr/lib/securi
ty/pam_authtok_get.so.1
Has anyone seen this problem before and if so how can I fix it.
Thx
Rob

Re: root login failure - new build
OK, an update, tried reinstalling with 1 change to previous install,
this time said no to enabling remote services and this time didnt get
the error and can log in correctly.
