I'd like to be able to remote forward multiple sql server
connections to my home machine. Since sql server likes
to run on port 1433, I've set up multiple loopback network
devices with ip 10.0.0.1, 10.0.0.2 etc. I'd like to be
able to run on the ssh client machine hosting databases:

ssh -p ${SSHD_PORT} -nNT -R 10.0.0.1:1433:{DBSERV1}:1433 ${SSHD_IP}
ssh -p ${SSHD_PORT} -nNT -R 10.0.0.2:1433:{DBSERV2}:1433 ${SSHD_IP}

such that each connection binds to the same port number on a different
loopback server of the machine running sshd. I've read about something
like this being done with Samba.

This all works fine for a single connection, but for multiple
connections I get:

Warning: remote port forwarding failed for listen port 1433

I think this is because the first connection is binding up the port
SSHD_PORT or its not using the loopback addresses.

Any help solving this would be greatly appreciated.
