Problem connecting to sftp-server under fedora core 5

Sftp-server running in a chroot environment (scponlyc)

Symptom: sftp client reports connection closed.

Cause: sftp-server opens /dev/null

Solution: Create /dev/null in the jail environment

cd ~/jail
mkdir dev
cp -a /dev/null null

Posted in the hope that the next guy won't have to google as long as I
did to find the solution.
