Thread: SSH Publickey Error Message

  1. SSH Publickey Error Message

    Hi,

I have two machines: Solaris 10 and Linux (Fedora Core 4.0). SSH has
been set up for these machines. After I run some software between the
two machines, I got the following errors on the client machine:

    ****Error Message*****

sshd[661]: Failed gssapi-with-mic for root from [ip address] port 50165
    ssh2

sshd[661]: Failed publickey for root from [ip address] port 50165 ssh2

    ****End of Error Message****

I copied the same public keys on both machines (generated by
ssh-keygen). I don't quite figure out what was wrong. Any hints would
    be highly appreciated. Thanks!
