Hi,
I have squid running on a linux box to cache large files (from 100K to
10Mb or so) for patch deployment to various windows systems via
patchlink. I have the systems configured to use the squid proxy to
pull the patches, but squid is not caching the packages.

Below are snippets of the access.log (obscured) file

the store.log shows the following for the patches.

At first we thought it may be that there was a cap on the squid object
size in the cache so we upped the maximum_object_size setting to a
crazy number. The squid.conf snippet below has the known pertinent
sections (if there are other sections, please let me know).

maximum_object_size 1048576 KB
# minimum_object_size 0 KB <--left default
maximum_object_size_in_memory 10240 KB

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA
