  1. SA getting stuck on a message

I have only seen this happen on Cron messages generated by our apt-cacher.
I am running a Debian Lenny machine with:
    SpamAssassin version 3.2.5
    running on Perl version 5.10.0

    I am calling spamassassin through amavid-new 2.6.0

I have pastebinned my debug output, I'm not sure what else whould be
    helpful to include:

SNIP - almost 300k of debug baloney

    Munroe,

Sending out 300k on a mailing list is not a very bright decision

That is why pastebin etc is used.

You probably sent out many gigabytes of data via the list server

My prime suspect would be some regular expression in some .cf file,
more likely than not from SARE. I'd use a bisection removing rulesets,
and see which .cf file is a culprit. For starters, try re-sending the
problem message through a content filter with most .cf files removed.
