To get the debug info into a file, you need to send std_err output to file
as debug output is really error output. You have 2 options:

option 1 - pipe to less:
spamassassin --lint -D < spamfile 2>&1 | less

option 2 - redirect to text file:
spamassassin --lint -D < spamfile 2>&1 > file.txt


That ought to do it!
