  1. how to patch openSolaris

    Hi,

I have installed an openolaris system for learning.

    # uname -a
    SunOS jupiter 5.11 snv_86 i86pc i386 i86pc

Most of them works fine. I already installed the possibiltys to install
    packages over the internet.

    # pkg authority
    AUTHORITY URL
    Blastwave http://blastwave.network.com:10000/
    Sunfreeware http://pkg.sunfreeware.com:9000/
    opensolaris.org http://pkg.opensolaris.org:80/
    localhost (preferred) http://localhost:10000/

Know I am looking for a description how to load and install patches. May
    be I did not see.

OpenSolaris does not have a patch system. You update by updating the
packages you want, or doing an image-update to upgrade the entire system,
using either the pkg CLI or the package-manager GUI.
