  1. Help. Fully downloaded OpenSolaris "sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip"is garbage.

    Hello,

It takes me over 10 hours to download each segment of OpenSolaris
    "Solaris Express Developer Edition 9/07":

    bash-3.00$ ls -l
    total 3182781
    -rw-r--r-- 1 arthur staff 1941 Oct 24 07:29
    1193236087022-integrated.jnlp
    -rw-r--r-- 1 arthur staff 1177 Oct 24 15:05
    1193263495548-integrated.jnlp
    drwxr-xr-x 2 arthur staff 512 Oct 26 06:08 Part_b
    -rw-r--r-- 1 arthur staff 1112056382 Oct 25 02:23
    sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-a.zip
    -rw-r--r-- 1 arthur staff 1035111295 Oct 25 15:14
    sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip
    -rw-r--r-- 1 arthur staff 1110347764 Oct 26 02:40
    sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-c.zip

I completed downloading, each segment reached 100%. Parts a and c unzip
as expected. Part b does not:

    unzip sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip
    Archive: sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of
    sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip or
    sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip.zip, and cannot find
    sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip.ZIP, period.
    bash-3.00$

I tried using the Sun Download Manager, but the only thing the button
click "Sun Download Manager" invocation did was download
    "1193236087022-integrated.jnlp" to my computer. "1035111295 Oct 25 15:14
sol-nv-b70b-x86-dvd-iso-b.zip" is smaller than the "1086602 KB" the
download window states as the total "Part b" zip file size. Does Sun
have an incomplete file on its server, or am I doing something wrong in
what should be a "no brainer" process? Any information and comments
would be greatly appreciated. I am downloading Part b again, so I may
have more information to report, in about 10+ hours.

    Living the Dream,

    John

    Wow,

I just received the Solaris Express Developer Edition in the mail. It
took circa 3 days. I am very impressed. And I no longer need to worry
    about Part b.

    Thanks Sun,

    John
